H-E-B is issuing a voluntary recall for half-gallon containers of its strawberry Creamy Creations flavor of ice cream citing possible contamination from metal from its processing equipment, according to a news release.
Only certain stores were affected, with several of them from the Rio Grande Valley.
Customers who purchased the product can receive a full refund by returning the item to the store. Customers can call H-E-B customer service at (855) 432-4438 with any questions or concerns from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
